New Version of the Negative Residue Management (NRM) application has been released into production - 14 September 2026 1325 hrs

AEMO advises participants that a new version of the Negative Residue Management (NRM) application has been released into production. This release updates the calculation of interconnector settlement residues to now use 5min dispatch data (previously it used 30min averages) providing a more accurate reflection of settlement residues. This change is not expected to significantly change the frequency or duration of NRM events.
